First of all, it is the welcome and kindness of the owner. We were able to pick up the keys several hours beforehand and our luggage remained in the shop until the boat departure time.
Then the studio is large, functional and the bedding is good.
And finally, the location: you can see the sea from the window.
It's not modern but it's comfortable! It's great after a hike!

The hosts, the married couple, two angels who are there for you, helpful and very friendly. I can really only recommend it to everyone. The apartment was very clean and right on the sea, the view was simply amazing. Thank you for these 11 days and see you next time!

I’ve never been so well taken care of by a hotel in my life. The staff contacted us on our hike there and guided us to help us avoid heatstroke, checking in along the way. After arriving later than expected, dehydrated and overheated, we were given water and care and guidance for over an hour. Just exceptional.

The man running the studios in the shop below was super friendly, had great information on what to do and where to go on a rainy day.

We felt as if we were at home, because of the kindness of the hosts. They also provided us with a lot of useful information about the area and other parts of Crete. Real good-hearted hospitality, cozy room, I hope to see you again!

The view from the room was simply the best. Right at the beach, with a view of a nearby port. It was spacious with a big balcony with a place to hang your wet clothes from the beach. And there are two nearby!
It was a steak for this price. Love it!

Joseph and Maria were the perfect hosts. Joseph answered all our questions regarding places to swim, eat, fish (our daughter's boyfriend loves it) Joseph was so accommodating. We felt so welcome. Zorbas was immaculate and a perfect place to sleep after enjoying the Samaria Gorge hike.

The room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the basics expected of a studio; we were also offered a portable beach umbrella, which was a nice touch.
Would definitely stay again if we return to Agia Roumeli.

The studio is lovely, with kitchenette, which I needed, and a balcony overlooking the mountains. Central property, a few meters from the sea, the port, as well as the market or atm. The real soul of the accommodation is Sifis, the owner, very kind and always helpful person! And always giving valuable advice! I would definitely come back. Thank you so much Sifis!

Great location, on the sea front. Since it’s a tiny village with everything within walking distance! We were given a spacious room with balcony & sea view which exceeded our expectations for the price paid. The couple who runs the place is very helpful and friendly. He’d spend some time helping us and a chat too! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone to stay there for to start the gorge walk early in the morning where there’s practically no one else that means you’ll have the place to yourself for a couple of hours also some good photos before the hordes of cattle, sorry… tourists descends! Will return

Location was perfect, the rooms are simple like all rooms at Agia Roumeli. The owner is very warm and friendly and generally I would recommend a stay at this hotel.

We stayed for one night after passing through the Samara gorge.
The room is medium in size, clean and comfortable. We had a balcony overlooking the mountains where we relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere of Aria Rumeli.The mini-kitchen has everything you need to prepare food and coffee.
The next day, the host allowed us to leave our backpacks in the room and even take a shower after our return from the E4 trail to Loutro, thank you very much

Nice place and the owner who runs downstairs souvenir shop know everything. When you want to catch ferry then you have to be on info point at 17. If you dont want to leave the latest ferry then you have time until 18 in the corge.
